Why I Built almost™
almost™ began with a missed connection at San Francisco International Airport. Twenty minutes with a stranger became a conversation I didn't want to end. Then I realized I was walking the wrong direction — and hurried off to catch my red-eye to Nashville. We parted without exchanging information. I spent two weeks searching. Nothing.
I don't have a tech background, and I had every reason to walk away. I built anyway.
almost™ turns missed connections into meaningful possibilities. Travelers add their trip and see who's about to cross their path — matched through shared airports and overlapping travel plans, never real-time location tracking. No swiping. No endless searching. Just real people whose paths might otherwise never cross.
I couldn't find that stranger. So I built a way for others to find theirs.
